ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!! This is driving me crazy!!!!

For the past 3 days, my left eyelid has been twitching uncontrollably and I'm about ready to snap. Any quick cures out there??? I've had suggestions ranging from sleep, beer, calcium supplements, magnesium...even wearing an eye patch!! I'm just afraid some guy is going to smack me for winking at his wife/girlfriend. (wasn't that a Seinfeld episode??)

Things look good for Fournier jump this morning.

The balloon is inflated and we are expecting lift off early this morning for Michel Fourniers record setting flight and jump above North Battleford. Beginning at 5 this morning, listen for all the latest news from the Battlefords Airport on Newstalk 650. Also this morning at 6:15, I will talk with Joe Kittinger, the man who made a similar jump nearly 50 years ago.

Superjump...will he go today??

As of 7 this morning, the wind at North Battleford was still within the limits for launching the 400 foot tall helium balloon that will carry Michel Fournier 40 kilometres above the prairies. Launch Manager Dale Sommerfeldt told me it would take about an hour to fill the balloon, and as of 6:45, that process had not yet started. He also says if they do launch, the silver colored balloon should be visible in the Saskatoon area as it climbs into the atmosphere. Keep listening to Newstalk 650 for updates.

Pickup Pal

This sounds like an interesting concept. This morning, I was talking with John Stewart, the founder of PickupPal about his web service that matches up people who need a ride or need something delivered, with people who are going their way.

Two bodies, one head.

Its not exactly Monty Burns 3-eyed fish, but its pretty weird. A northern pike caught at North Bay Ontario, with one head and two distinct bodies. Wonder how the game wardens would interpret this as part of your limit??
