Eric Lindros should go into the Hockey Hall of Fame! Upon his retirement from the game, the big "E" got some well-deserved praise from his old General Manager. Bobby Clarke(who I totaly respect and admire) put his harsh feelings for Lindros aside and acknowledged that number 88 does indeed deserved to be inducted. Lindros had a great career which was sloed and cut short by injuries. Did he ever live up to the billing of being the next Wayne Gretzky? Not even close. However, if it was not for his meddling and controlling parents, Lindros would probably have sipped from lord Stanley's mug at some point in his career. He was the first ever complete power forward who could do it all from scoring, setting up, penalty killing, power play, hitting, fighting and leading his team to success while shouldering the burden of defeat. If it weren't for his parents, the big "E" would be getting his number retired in Philly. But because of them, that isn't going to happen. And that's an awful shame!
