Have a look at Friday's highlights between Dallas and Ottawa off of TSN. In the intermission some nine year old players were having a shootout. This 9 year old named Matts Gerlach scored an amazing goal.

I spent the weekend in Moose Jaw for my son's pee wee III hockey tournament. I have a 15 year old, and a 12 year old, I'm going to miss those out of town tourneys when the kids get older. Rink burgers, catching up with friends from other cities, sitting by the pool while the kids waterslide and watching good hockey. Any hockey parent will tell you, that you can't beat it. My wife caught up to her bridesmaid's sister who we hadn't seen in a while. Great stuff.
We had to go deep on to the depth chart for the Drew Remenda Sports Show last week. Chris Cuthbert of TSN was good enough to give me a hand for two hours Tuesday. It was awesome. He has an unbelievable memory. He actually did play by play of the Yorkton Terriers for a year, and recalled riding the bus with Gerry James in the early 1980's.
Life may be returning to normal after the Roughriders big win. I only had 15-20 people talk to me in Moose Jaw about the Grey Cup.
